Seemingly Weightless
Textile collection with a potential to become a modern classic
With ‚Reset‘, the German textile editor with a Scandinavian background presents a collection that convinces with its authenticity. Seventeen designs in all, which epitomise an attitude consistently mainainted by the company for many years as far as materials, weaving technology and finishing are concerned – to develop textiles for private homes and the contract bracket, which are innovative in a pleasingly subtle way, are conemporary and also have the makings of a classic. Something special is inherent to the details of each design, each dazzles with rich structures without losing itself in ornaments, none of them is superficially chasing trends. ‚Chroma‘, for instance, reinterprets the subject of silk by using an unusual material combination of silk, metal and cotton, refined by a special washing and finishing process. ‚Salut‘, on the other hand, is light as a feather, sewn by hand out of transparent weave structures and ends in a complex grid. And there is ‚Hikari‘, whose broad banners open up in a breeze to show coloured decorative stitching. ‚Azuro‘, on the other hand, is of hand-dyed linen and has a down-to-earth effect with its flowing dark-to-bright-to-dark colour transition that looks like sun-bleached and frequently washed; ideally suited also as a furniture cover.
