A Touch of Décor
Black, simple and graphic
It’s either ivy, ginkgo, a twig or a blade of grass that play a role here, or it is just a word or a saying. Or even both. Swedish porcelain designer Malin Eliasson Sahlin relies on the contrast of black and white and incorporates floral and graphic elements in her subtle formal idiom. Her style is clear, playful and timeless. “You can do anything you want with simple forms; They will always be in harmony with each other”, says Sahlin. Apart from multifunctional basic pieces (bowls, plates, beakers and cups) she also develops shapes that are slightly asymmetrical. All pieces match and are suitable for almost all dishes of this world. The hard-porcelain material will always add a special out-of-the-ordinary flair to any laid table.
