Chaos and Order
Two concepts explore the options of OLED technology with regard to design
OLEDs are the dawn of a new lighting era, with completely new fields of application in living and work space. As light sources, they will sustainably contribute to preserving the environment with their energy efficiency, environmentally friendly materials and low system integration costs. They emit light as a homogeneous light source across a large surface and represent a completely new approach for architects, planners and luminaire manufacturers to rethink lighting. However, it is still a long way until OLEDs are as important as LEDs are in today’s light source market. For this reason, almost all manufacturers are trying to boost this futuristic technology with innovative and intriguing luminaires that create an appetite for more of the same. The models shown here, ‚Teka‘ and ‚I.Rain‘ are prime examples.
