Textilien fassen sich nicht nur weich an, sondern haben großen Einfluss auf die Raumakustik. Während Vorhänge aufgrund ihres spießigen Images seit Jahren auf dem Rückzug sind, bilden die Systemmodule ‚Clouds‘ eine spielerische Alternative. Nicht am Fenster kommen sie zum Einsatz, vielmehr entfalten sie ihre ästhetische und Schall absorbierende Wirkung als Rauminstallationen an der Wand oder an der Decke. Die “Wolken” werden in Eigenregie montiert und ihre Formationen lassen sich immer wieder einfach verändern. Ähnlich den 2006 für den Showroom des Herstellers in Stockholm entwickelten ‚North Tiles‘, werden die auf einem gefalzten Doppelsechseck basierenden Flächen ineinander gesteckt und an ihren Kanten jeweils von einem Gummiring gehalten. Mit ein paar Schnüren lässt sich das Gebilde abhängen, Schrauben fixieren es an der Wand. Die Akustikelemente gibt es mit 2 Textiloberflächen, ‚Divina‘ und ‚Tempo‘, und dies in 7 Zweier-Farbkombinationen. Packungseinheiten mit 8 oder 24 Modulen bestimmen die “Wolkengröße”.

Textiles are not only soft to the touch but also have a great effect on the acoustics in a room. While curtains have a somewhat bourgeois image and have therefore been on the retreat for years, the systemised modules of ‚Clouds‘ offer a playful alternative. They are not placed at the window but evolve their aesthetic and sound-absorbing effect as room installations on the wall or hanging from the ceiling. ‚Clouds‘ can be put together individually to the user’s taste, and the formations can be re-arranged easily time and again. Similar to ‚North Tiles‘, developed in 2006 for the manufacturer’s showroom in Stockholm, the tiles consist of folded double hexagons that are joined together and attached with a rubber band at the edges. The finished creation can be hung up with a few strings of fixed on the wall with screws. The acoustic elements are available in two fabrics, ‚Divina‘ und ‚Tempo‘, in seven two-tone colour combinations. The tiles come in packs with 8 or 24 modules that determine the size of your ‚Clouds‘.
