Ready to Take the Stage
Goods are presented in angled niche walls
Via Appia, producers of high-grade ladies’ knitwear and shirts, moved into its new showroom in Düsseldorf at the start of 2012. The exhibition space of around 270 m² has been structured into four product goods areas, in line with the four product ranges, along both sides of a so-called boulevard. The areas are designed like stages and the fashion items are presented in a spotlight. The concept of materials and colours is restricted to a small number of contrasting materials. It combines oak flooring, white, high-gloss surfaces for the shelf areas and a grey background. Goods are presented in angular niches with a height of 2.10 metres. Theses niches limit the stages on two sides. LED lights line the ceiling. Additional sliding elements with the same appearance as the “wall unit shelves” extend the goods areas and can be used to separate the main space from the office and storage areas at the back.
