Integrated Comfort
Material and production process support an artistic shell shape
‚Up-Chair‘ catches the eye. Its seat shell, apart from white also available in four fresh colours, induces the viewer to attentively follow its lines and lets the first attempt to grasp the shape fail. The outer sides of the front seat area cleverly turned in a slanted fashion toward the inside and the upper backrest. This looks completely natural and happens without a grand gesture – you just have to take a close look. It’s only logical that such a shell achieves the best effect if it sits on an unobtrusive frame. The four-legged trestle is available in matt or chrome-plated steel tubing or with legs of oak or walnut. Thanks to its molecular structure, the dyed-through integral foam makes it possible to do without metal reinforcements, apart from the leg mounting plate of the otherwise flexible seat shell. ‘Up-Chair’ is more than just a chair.
