Lightweight Chandelier
It’s based on known physical laws and does without expensive materials. Which does not detract from its fascination.
‚Hope‘ is a design that unites aesthetic and functional considerations at the highest possible level, and it has the potential for becoming a blockbuster as happened in the case of sparkling ‚Titania‘, filigree ‚Berenice‘ and minimalist ‚Lola‘ – all of them being highlights that have established the reputation of the manufacturer as one of the most innovative light labs of the country. Continuitiy and progress. So it seems to fit the picture that the great Paolo Rizzato joined talented designer Francisco Gomez Paz as a consultant in the finishing phase. According to Paz, the basic idea was to interpret the special lighting effect of a classic crystal chandelier in a contemporary way. Pieces of softly curved polycarbonate film that function like Fresnel lenses take care of the refraction of the light. Its name, by the way, is a reference to the noble sparkle, the manifold light refraction and the balanced shape of the world-famous Hope, which weighs more than 400 carats.
