Breaching the Gap
A functional arch enacts the kitchen as a room in a room
It is no coincidence that the space-defining concept carries an architect’s trademark. The ‚+Artesio‘ kitchen range bridges the gap between cooking and living area in a very literal sense of the word. The kitchen is visually integrated in the living area by a bridge element that extends from floor and wall up to the ceiling. Which makes it possible to enact the kitchen as a room in a room as consistently as never before and to stage an atmospherically harmonious performance even in extremely high rooms. ‚+Artesio‘ works of course also without the “bridge”, i.e. as a line-up or corner configuration. The basis of the design is an organisational grid of 13 cm. It contains the lamellae wall and the lower cabinet in one horizontal line. The wall design, which stresses the joints, is broken up by a stainless steel strip that can also be used as a functional channel. Also on the carcasses each joint is in place. Which is another special feature of the side elements that have the same design as the frontages. Perfection in each and every detail – also as far as dining table, chairs, bench and corner bench are concerned.
