Slimmed Down
A slender kitchen island solves space problems
‘Slim‘ was specifically developed for kitchens with a small floor plan. But the combination of standard depths and reduced module depths in the lower cabinets mounted flush with the wall is not the only interesting feature. The range is also convincing thanks to the unusual slim kitchen islands with their depth of only 53 cm. As far as material thickness, volume and equipment are concerned, the freestanding ‘Slim’ modules are geared to professional use. An even better characteristic is that the sink, the cooktop (ceramic or gas) and the preparation zone can be accessed from two sides. The slender islands thus fill a gap in island solutions offered fit for daily use, which according to trade association polls are still in high demand. The islands are available as open or closed stainless-steel workbenches allowing various configurations. In the closed version, a folding table enables improvised “Front Cooking & Dining”.
