Circles, Rings, Discs
Round rugs provide focus to a room
The circle has a magic of its own. It plays a special role among geometrical figures which it does not have to share even with the square. Circles mark spaces, they set limits or exclude, they provide a centre and dominate, and this applies to almost all civilisations.
The collection is called ‚dots+stripes‘. In addition to nine rectangular rugs (1.4 x 2.0/2.0 x 3.0/1.7 x 2.5 m), six circular ones with diameters of 2.0 and 3.0 m are also available. Here we limit ourselves to presenting only the latter ones, seeing that the nine colours are similarly used for both shapes. It’s always a combination of black and two other colours, and a concentric or axisymmetric layout from the inside outwards. Singly or arranged in groups – strong circles for strong rooms.
